About Your Session

We’ll create honest, heartfelt images that reflect your family just as you are—playful, connected, and beautifully real. Your session includes one photographer, a private online gallery, and a collection of professionally edited digital images to download and enjoy.

Payment & Booking

A 50% retainer is due when you book your session. It holds your date and is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due when your final gallery is delivered.

Rescheduling

Kids get sick, weather shifts—life happens. If you need to reschedule, just let me know. We’ll find a new date within 30 days. Your comfort and your kids’ experience come first.

Privacy & Image Use

You’ll always have the option to opt out of sharing your images online, especially when minors are involved. Just check the box on the contract to let me know. If you’re open to sharing images with faces obscured (backs of heads, playful details), that’s also an option.

Copyright & Usage

You have full personal use rights to print and share your photos with friends and family. Just don’t sell them, edit them, or use them for commercial purposes without checking in first. I retain copyright of all images and may use them in my portfolio—unless you opt out.

File Delivery & Storage

Your final gallery will be ready about 5 business days after your session. It stays online for a full year. Please download and back up your images—I'm not obligated to store them beyond that.

Editing & Artistic Style

The final gallery is carefully curated and edited in a style consistent with the work you see on my website. Not every image taken will be delivered—just the best moments, beautifully finished.

Safety & Responsibility

While I create a fun, relaxed environment, parents remain responsible for supervising children (and pets!) during the session. Let’s keep everyone safe while having a good time.

Wall Art & Print Products

Your session includes a downloadable gallery of fully edited images, a custom slideshow, and access to a built-in online store where you can order high-quality albums, prints, calendars, mugs, and more. The store is open 24/7 for the full year your gallery is live, so you can return anytime to purchase gifts for birthdays, holidays, or meaningful family milestones.

If you’re interested in wall art, we’ll chat during our initial call about pre-purchasing a 1, 3, or 5-piece framed print package. These are paid up front—so there are no surprise costs or pushy upsells after your session. Once your gallery is ready, just choose your favourite images, and I’ll take care of printing, framing, and delivery. I even arrange professional in-home installation, typically within 4–6 weeks.

Everything you purchase—from framed artwork to mugs and albums—is sourced locally through trusted Canadian print labs and makers, so you can feel good about both the quality and where it’s coming from.
